The Marlborough Lodge's cuisine is prepared as delicately as our guests are pampered.

Our Head Chef and his team specialise in showcasing Marlborough's gourmet produce. They know how the food has been produced and understand how to bring out the most subtle of flavours to ensure a mouthwatering dining experience you won't want to miss.

Begin the day with our continental or cooked breakfast, then wind down in the afternoon with delicious canapés served in the sunny courtyard in front of the outdoor fire, followed by an fresh, seasonal a la carte dinner menu all of which is included in your nightly tariff.  Harvest Restaurant at The Marlborough Lodge also offers an excellent selection of Marlborough, New Zealand and international wines which are an additional charge.

Our entire stay was absolutely amazing. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with beautiful views of the vineyards. This property is exceptional in every way, the gardens breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were included as were drinks and canapés before dinner outside . Karen and staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The Lodge has bikes and we went for a pleasurable ride through the vineyards . A truly fabulous and memorable stay.

Tastefuly furnished with a Nespresso machine, pods, and gorgeous fresh creamery milk. Great shower with lovely toiletries provided...and great 4G WiFi. Don't stay here if you want Cook...but why would you when you've got some of the best chefs and wine the area has at Hans Herzog Bistro, Restaurant and vineyard across the road.

It was a typically crisp Autumn evening so we started with a glass of bubbles and delicious canapés beside the huge outdoor fire. We could just as easily have settled into the comfy sofas inside the chapel, now transformed into a cosy space for pre-dinner drinks, wine tastings, and browsing a range of beautiful NZ-made gifts. This was not our first visit to The Marlborough Lodge, but the first since the change of guard the kitchen. The menu changes daily and is a showcase of local produce with a touch of European flair. Portions are generous and our plates were bare when they returned to the kitchen. That says it all. The Lodge effortlessly combines elegance with comfort and under Karen's stewardship the staff are efficient and friendly and knowledgeable too. We locals are lucky to have a place of this calibre on our doorstep, visitors who stay here are just lucky.

My dad and I stayed here for 4 nights, actually it was so good, we extended! From the rooms, to breakfast and dinner, to the grounds and staff, the lodge exceeds even the most distinguished expectations! I have stayed in the best hotels around the world, but The Marlborough Lodge is without hesitation one of those places where you will always remember every detail because they exceeded in every category! Can't wait to return!
